Ultimate Porchetta

I make this a couple times a year and every time blows me away how good it is. In short, its pork belly that been coated with a herby mixture, rolled into a log and then roasted for a couple hours. The end result is a juicy herby pork belly, but with the crispiest crackling on top. Hands down, my favourite roasted meat EVER!

Hi there. I'm looking to make this for my daughter's 1st communion party. Could you share the ciabatta, applesauce & coleslaw recipes as well? Or do you have other serving suggestions for +- 20p? Note that I'll be serving some anipasti, a primo (home made ravioli) and some Italian desserts as well. Thanks!

Hey Ruben, perfect occasion hope it goes well! If you check out my "Pork Katsu with Apple and Cabbage Slaw" recipe you will see a slaw recipe which I think would work well here! For my ciabatta, Its very much similar to the "same day focaccia", only exception is less oil and using flour to coat the dough. Ive attached my recipe for the ciabatta on the photo - sorry its my hand written recipe, I will film a video soon for it!

This was great. Crackling was perfect! This was a 2.3kg piece of pork and needed an hour less in cooking time but we went by the internal temperature in the end. Definitely one for a dinner party!
