One-Pan Sausage and Fennel Pasta

One of my favourites and done in one pan. Sausage a fennel is such a great combination and a good base for a variety of pasta sauces.

Method

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Bring a large pan of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the pasta until 1–2 minutes shy of the package’s recommended time (reserve 250–300 ml pasta cooking water), then drain and set aside.

I have made this several times for my family on a weekday and they love it. It’s quick and you can change it up too. I used mild and spicy sausage instead of chili flakes and then the mezza rigatoni. Delicious!
